Ron Hayashi is president of the HCCS Consulting Associates. Previously, Hayashi served as director of health plan administration for Kaiser Permanente.
Hayashi is active in the community as he serves on the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce (HJCC) Board of Directors, McKinley High School Foundation Board of Directors and is a member of the 100th Battalion Descendants. Previously, Hayashi also served on the Hawaii State Planning & Development Agency as vice chair and the Windward Area Health Planning Council as chair. He was asked by the HJCC to represent the organization on the JCCH board as its perpetual member. He accepted the position as he is committed to help perpetuate the legacy of the Japanese American experience in Hawai‘i to ensure that the legacy remains relevant by evolving as does our society.
Hayashi is married with three children and eight grandchildren.
