
Darren Ota is Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Private Banking Group of Bank of Hawaii. Darren joined the bank in 2007 and served as a manager in the Business Banking Division and as a commercial banking officer. His knowledge and experience in commercial banking provides a unique perspective that allows him to assist his clients with a holistic approach in achieving both personal and business needs.
Prior to joining the bank, Darren had 13 years of experience working for a consumer finance company in Honolulu. Darren is a graduate of Konawaena High School on the Big Island and received his bachelor’s in finance from Santa Clara University.
Darren is also active in the not-for-profit community and also serves as a board member for Special Education Center of Hawaii, Hawaii Council on Economic Education, the Kahala Business Association and is an active member of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce.
