New Year's 'Ohana Festival

Celebrate the Year of the Boar! Enjoy entertainment, food booths, keiki games, kimono dressing, craft fair, cultural demonstrations, and much more! This is the state’s largest festival celebrating Japanese New Year traditions. The New Year’s ‘Ohana Festival is a great way for the community to come together and celebrate the New Year and Hawai‘i’s cultural diversity.

Admission to the festival is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available at the UH parking structure with complimentary shuttle service to and from the festival.
