Mahalo to all the keiki, kūpuna, family, and friends that supported the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai’i’s first Hanafuda Hangout!
This all-age event included:
- Introductory Hanafuda lesson from Hanafuda Hawaii Style
- Hangout time to meet and play with friends
- Gameplay assistance from expert Hanafuda senseis
- Snacks and refreshments
- Keiki area with Children's Day and Hanafuda-themed activities!
Kids ages 17-years and younger are FREE in celebration of Kodomo no Hi (Children’s Day)!
