Cultural Classes
The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i makes its rooms available for various cultural classes including Chadō (The Way of Tea), kumihimo (Japanese braiding), and shodō (Japanese calligraphy). Other Japanese cultural arts workshops are held at the Cultural Center periodically. Public announcements are made through the media and the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i publications. Chadō (The Way of Tea)
All tea classes are held at the Seikōan Teahouse on the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i fourth floor. Please call the school directly for class schedules.

Kumihimo (Japanese Braiding)
A single workshop for braiders of all levels will be held in the JCCH 5th floor Lounge on the second Saturday of each month except for January and December.
