New Year’s ‘Ohana Festival

Ring in the New Year with the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i! Next year’s event will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016. The New Year’s ‘Ohana Festival provides fun, food, and culture for the entire family. The event brings the community to the Cultural Center and neighboring Mō‘ili‘ili Field for a festival filled with Japanese and multicultural customs.

The date for the 2016 New Year’s ‘Ohana Festival has been set. Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 10, 2016 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i and Moiliili Field!

This fun-filled event will feature food, crafts, entertainment and cultural demonstrations of the people who make up this island state. Keiki can also enjoy games and make-and-take activities throughout the day. The New Year’s ‘Ohana Festival will be a great way for the community to come together and celebrate the Year of the Monkey in 2016! You won’t want to miss this annual tradition as we ring in the New Year and celebrate Hawai‘i’s cultural diversity.
